Advantage of Regenerative reheating furnace
For the Regenerative reheating furnace, the burning mouth is on pair, one set is heating, another set is removing the smoke (by transverse direction), it supply heat point by point, it can reduce the Oxidation of billets. And heating by changing direction, keeping temperature inside furnace evenly, and keep the smoke removing temperature to chimney as below 150degree, it is good way to keeping the temperature inside, So it will reduce the natural gas consumption.And the temperature is controlled automatically by PLC
Disadvantage of normal type reheating furnace
For normal reheating furnace, the smoke discharging temperature to chimney is around 250-300degree, in this process, it take away some heat from the furnace inside, and the burning mouth inside is not on pair, so the temperature evenly is not as good as Regenerative heating furnace. And it is by manual way to adjust direction changing valve,
It will lead to higher consumption of natural gas.
